QuickCalc is operated by Johannes Nieuwboer, who acts as the data controller for the personal data described in this notice.

The free calculators work without an account. We collect:

• Usage and device data — pages visited, approximate device and browser information, and IP address, collected automatically when you use the site;
• Account data — if you create an account, your email address and a securely hashed password, plus sign-in timestamps;
• Purchase records — if you buy QuickCalc Pro, we store the purchase reference, amount, date and status (paid / refunded) against your account so Pro works on every device. Card details are collected and processed by Paddle (see below), never by us;
• Saved calculations — Pro users can choose to save a calculation's inputs and results to their account. Nothing is saved unless you press "Save";
• Support messages — if you contact us, the content of your message and your email address.

Otherwise, calculator inputs (salaries, weights, amounts, and so on) are processed in your browser and are not sent to or stored on our servers.

• Providing and improving the Service (legitimate interests / contract performance);
• Security and fraud prevention (legitimate interests);
• Processing purchases and delivering Pro (contract performance);
• Showing advertising that funds the free Service (consent, where required);
• Meeting legal obligations such as tax and accounting rules (legal obligation).

• Paddle — our Merchant of Record — for the sale of QuickCalc Pro, subscription and payment management, tax compliance, and invoicing;
• Service providers — hosting and infrastructure providers that keep the site running;
• Advertising partners — if ads are shown, our advertising partner (Google AdSense) may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads, subject to your consent choices;
• Professional advisers and authorities — where required by law.

The site uses essential storage to keep you signed in, and — where you consent — advertising cookies used by Google AdSense. You can manage cookies through your browser settings and withdraw consent at any time.

Some of our service providers (including Paddle and Google) process data outside the EEA/UK. Where this happens, transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or adequacy decisions.

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above, after which it is deleted or anonymised. Account data and saved calculations are kept until you delete them or ask us to close your account. Purchase-related records are kept as long as tax and accounting law requires.

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit and restricted access controls, to protect personal data.

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, or erase your personal data, to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. You also have the right to complain to your data protection supervisory authority. We respond to requests within one month.
