How it works

Worked example: 1 March to 15 April

- 3Total: 31 + 14 = 45 days, which is 6 weeks and 3 days.

The result is the number of days between the two dates, so the start day itself is not counted.
How many working days are in a month?

How do I count weeks between two dates?
The tool shows weeks and leftover days automatically. Manually: divide the day count by 7 — 45 days is 6 weeks and 3 days.
Does it handle dates in different years?
Yes — any two dates work, across months, years and leap years. The gap between 1 January 2020 and 1 January 2030 is 3,652 days.
